PARTING SHOT: 

A group of researchers venture across the sea ice in Barrow, Alaska, the afternoon of June 2, 2008.
The researchers were participants in the 2008 International Arctic Research Center summer school,
which brought together graduate students, young scientists and specialists in arctic climate and
climate modeling, to teach a new generation of scientists the opportunities and challenges of Arctic
