Rapid changes in the Arctic climate will continue to have profound consequences for life locally and globally. Toolik Field Station, located in the northern foothills of Alaska’s Brooks Range, has a 30-year history of supporting large, diverse environmental research and monitoring programs. Toolik, administered by the Institute of Arctic Biology at UAF, is home to the National Science Foundation’s Arctic Long-Term Ecological Research program and is a NSF Arctic Observing Network site. www.uaf.edu/toolik/
