RAHI Archaeology Field School
RAHI and the Tanana Chiefs Conference are offering an opportunity for students to spend two weeks at an archaeological dig site near Healy Lake, Alaska. Students will work alongside professional archaeologists from Alaska and Texas A&M University. This is the third summer for the program.
Students will fly into the Healy Lake site in Interior Alaska. Living in tents, the group will spend their days working at the site and evenings learning how to make tools that may have been used at the time of occupation as well as local history. Students interested in this program must attend RAHI to be eligible.
Tentative dates are July 11 - July 25, 2014.
We are grateful for the support provided by New York Life and the National Science Foundation for this program.
