I attended RAHI, Rural Alaska Honors Institute, during the summer of 1999.
I am from Akiachak, Alaska. I graduated from Moses Peter Memorial High School so I am Class of 1999...Home of The Mighty Huskies!!!. My six week experience here at RAHI was challenging, I learned many things and I met many friends. I would recommend anyone to attend RAHI that are interested in going away to college. College life and the social expectations here at the University of Alaska Fairbanks as well as RAHI is satisfying, I like it here!. College life is awesome!!!...... I plan to attend college for four years and major in Business or Computer Networking/Graphic Animation, I don't know yet. Umm...I will maintain my four years at the University of Alaska Southeast in Juneau for my starting point. I am also thinking about attending a Business school in Denver, Colorado for another four years in order to get my master's degree. I think Education is something one should not lay in waste. We are forever learning people...:)
Our family group did a lot of fun and new activities together. The first weekend we went to Kim's apartment and that is where we ate a six-foot subway. The next weekend we went laser tagging, that was FUN!!!. Then the remaining weekends we went out to the movies at some point we would go out for icecream. We also attended dances sponsored by RAHI or Upward Bound. We made memorable moments together. It's like we call each other brother or sister, it's cool because we all got to know each other very well.

Three or four sentences about yourself: I am sensitive, I am funny, I am a child of God, and I love to laugh a lot. I believe that the responsibilities of a leader include being a role model such as a chief on an Indian reservation or a village.
Career Goal: I have many interests in different fields such as Business Management, Business Administration, Physical Therapy, or Computer Networking, and Graphic Animation.
Best Memory of RAHI '99: weekends...umm, the FRIENDS!, and the sunny hot days with Tonya-littlesis...LOL. Walking, talking, and laughing with Sonya(miffy#1) and Shelley(miffy#3). And hugging Deanna.

Where do you think you will be in 10 years and what do you think you will be doing? In ten years I see myself finished through college, therefore, I will have a job where I am in an office as a Business Manager or so. Or I am helping disabled people in a village as a Physical Therapist, and lastly I am probably out somewhere working on computers and creating my own designs in Graphic Animation.
