Swimming Class RAHI 2007

The 2007 RAHI Swimming class is taught by Joanna and Rebecca. They are divided into two groups, one being the more experienced swimmers and the other being the beginning swimmers. In this course, the swimmers are not receiving any credits. Joanna and Rebecca teach the swimmers how to swim in different techniques such as the "freestyle", "breaststroke", and "backstroke".

...Stretching before swimming a mile....or maybe just 100 yards. Go Brittany!!!
"That's the spirit! Keep smiling, even after you swam a 500 yard Catch-up drill. You Rock, Billy!"

That's the way to pose....looks a little uncomfortable...but still...effective. Good job, Chris!
"And then you swim to the sidelines if you can't breathe....and wait for me to come and rescue you." Our teacher, Joanna, is the best!
"....Race you to the other end...last one over has to do a belly flop!"

"It's been told that swimming is a wimp sport, but I don't see it.  We don't get timeouts, in the middle of a race we can't stop and catch our breath, we can't roll on our stomachs and lie there, and we can't ask for a substitution."  ~Author Unknown
