Hey people! My name is Dallas Ningealook. Welcome to my web page. I made this while I was attending Rural Alaska Honors Institute, which is housed at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. This program is for rural high school students who are planning to attend college.

I come from a village called Shishmaref, AK that consists of about 600+ people. If you don't know where that is, it is 120 miles northwest of Nome, AK. I graduated from Shishmaref High School this year and plan to attend college this coming fall here at UAF. I wanted to come to RAHI because of the free credits and to go to Fairbanks.

The most memorable thing during RAHI was the water fights,everybody stressing because of homework, not sleeping, Twin Bears, and beating the dorm staff in basketball!

This progam is very challenging and is a lot of fun too. I have met a lot of different people throughout Alaska. I encourage juniors and seniors who want to attend college after high school to apply for this program.
