She's quirky, energetic and, lives life to the fullest. Mary Beth "Claudia" Hiratsuka is the type of person everyone loves, and no one ever forgets. She lived in Dillingham up until 2nd grade when she moved to Valdez for 4 years. Her family and she then moved to Anchorage for a year, before returning to Dillingham, where Mary Beth finished her Junior year. Mary Beth will be traveling to the beautiful country of Brazil to complete her senior year abroad.

Her hopes and dreams include:

• Attending college on the East Coast where she plans to study law, psychology, or the social sciences

• Joining the Peace Corps

• Living the "Bohemian Life" in New York City

Her main pet peeve is "plastic people", or those who are artificial.
