I was adopted from Calcutta, India about12 years ago. Now I reside in Kodiak Island and have lived there for 12 years. I will continue to live there until I graduate from high school. I plan to attend either the Universty of Alaska Anchorage or University of Alaska Fairbanks. I love to take walks on the beach, be with friends, play with the family cat, listen to music, dance, surf the net, and draw. From all the activities listed: my three favorites are dancing, listening to music, and drawing. Drawing is my life, I love to draw because I like to express myself and shows who I am. I plan to become a pediatric traveling nurse. I hope this dream comes true because I like the constant interaction with different aged groups. I would enjoy this job because I get to be with people all the time.
Attending RAHI was one step closer towards achieving my goal. If I hadn't attended RAHI I probably would not attend college. I realize that college is fun and intense. In order to get good grades, I have to study a lot and manage my time wisely. I have to finish my homework first before I can have fun. I have learned a big and important lesson. It was a pleasure to meet all the people from all over Alaska. I hope to keep in touch with all the many friends I made. I enjoyed my roommate Cheryl Foster and hope to have one just like her when I get to college.
