Hello my name is Danann Blandov, I am a student of the Rural Alaska Honors Institute on UAF campus.

I was born in Ketchikan, Alaska and spent most of my life growing up in Metlakatla. I enjoy the outdoors and doing outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and swimming. A few of my other hobbies include playing basketball, and beading. Although I am going to be a senior in high school I am not sure what I want to be just yet, but since I enjoy science and the outdoors I am very interested in forestry and marine biology. My favorite thing about RAHI was meeting new people and the white water rafting trip we took.
