Dolly Kiyutelluk

I attended Rural Alaska Honors Institute during the summer of 2001

I am from Shishmaref which is 100 miles south of Kotzebue and 120 miles northwest of Nome. It is located on Sarichef Island (off the coast of the Seward Penninsula).

Goals: In 5 years I want to be a critically acclaimed actress...I jokes... I'll be doing suh-um besides living in Shishmaref with 5 kids and working my butt off to eat. In 10 years Jamie said that we'd be cruising in her Diablo...she forgot to mention that I picked the ride. So yeah that is what I wll be doing in 10 years.

I love to draw and write. While I am home I hang with my friends, go riding, and sleep all day long.

DEVS 104 is the University Communications class. Basically it is teaching us how to write the right way (in a way we can get through college.)

DEVS 108 is the Study Skills Lab Superlearning class. All the students are required to take this class, it basically gives us tools to use to improve our memorization skills.

ANS 101 this is my Alaska Native Studies class. The "notion" of learning about other people's cultures is fun and interesting. I like the class, but hearing the word "notion" all day long bored me, so...yeah...

ANS 106 is Alaskan Native Dance. I hardly ever Native danced in my village, so I thought it would be fun and kinda cool.
