Tisha Kingeekuk

My name is Tisha Kingeekuk and I'm from Savoonga, Alaska. Savoonga is on an island located in the middle of the Bering Sea, called St. Lawerence Island. On the island, there is also another village called Gambell. Where I live, there are a little over 800 people. I attended the Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial School, and I just graduated this past May. There were about 200 kids at my school from K-12. I was part of the girls' volleyball and basketball team, through out my four years in high school. My goal is to become a high school science teacher, go back home and teach my little brother and all the other younger community members of Savoonga. I love playing volleyball, basketball, reading a good books every once and while, hang out with my friends, listening to music, checking my e-mail and cooking. Here are two of my many favorite internet links: passthison.com and bluemountain.com, I love sending my friends greeting cards.

Here is list of the some of music groups I listen to...

In ten years, I see myself still teaching high school science, somewhere in Alaska.
