Wassiliisia "Missy" Gumlickpuk
My name is Wassiliisia Gumlickpuk, but everyone calls me Missy. I am from New Stuyahok. I like visiting with my friends and family. During the winter I like to ice fish and ride my snow-machine. During the summer I like to go boating and having family picnics. I am active in sports such as volleyball and basketball. I have been the team captain for both since I was a freshman. We have won district titles.
Rural Alaska Honors Institute has been a great experience for me and will help those who plan on going to college.
In five years I hope to graduate from college and in ten years I plan to be a elementary or high school teacher.
