UAF Psychology Department Clinic

The UAF Psychology Department Clinic currently serves adults (18 years and older), providing psychological services for individuals and couples. One purpose of the clinic is to meet needs of adults in our community who have limited access to mental health care; those on waiting lists and those who can not afford treatment. Referrals from the Fairbanks community are welcomed. Plans to expand services to youth and families are in development.

The clinic is located in the Gruening Building on the UAF campus, and is open part-time, Monday through Friday. Psychotherapy appointments may be made by calling (907) 474-1999. Fees for services are at a reduced rate.

The Psychology Department Clinic is a training site for doctoral student clinicians designed to meet the training requirements of the Doctoral Program in Clinical-Community Psychology. Potential clients are screened to determine appropriateness for scope of practice. Student clinicians are supervised by a licensed psychologist and have clinical support from the UAF Psychology Faculty.

Questions and suggestions about the clinic can be directed to Dr. Robert Morgan, UAF Director of Clinical Training (474-6147), or to the Department Clinic directly (474-1999).
