Dr. Worrall is director of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Research Program at UAF. This program, which started Fall 2015, currently offers low fee Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Groups and DBT-informed therapy through the UAF Psychology Department Clinic.
Dr. Worrall's primary research interest is in developing ways to improve clinical supervision and training in DBT and other empirically
supported psychotherapies in order to increase access to high quality mental health services, especially in rural Alaska. He is also
interested in the evaluation and culturally appropriate adaptation of therapeutic approaches to most efficiently and effectively meet the
needs diverse groups.
