Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychology
1993: University of Alaska, Fairbanks PhD Neuroscience

Greetings from Anita Hartmann, CNRN, PhD.
All the extra letters simply mean I have an earned doctorate in neuroscience, am licensed in the State of Alaska and nationally board certified in clinical neuroscience. I teach mostly upper-division undergraduate courses such as: biological basis of behavior, animal behavior, drug physiology and behavior, neuroanatomy and physiology, learning and cognition, as well as statistics and research methods. Undergraduates who have worked with me in the lab on active research (both human and animal studies) have gone on to: Yale University, summer internships at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and graduate doctoral programs as well as medical school.

I consider myself to be a theocentric humanist, who enjoys almost anything that takes me out into Creation: fishing, camping, hiking, skiing, gardening...you name it.
