Elements for the Nomination Process for the Northern Momentum Teacher/Scholar Program:

• Nomination must be from a unit (department or equivalent), not from an individual.
• Summary of proposed scholar's interests and record of accomplishment in circumpolar affairs.
• Summary of benefits which UAF would receive from this scholar's visit.
• Assurances that:
  • host unit can provide space and appropriate support
  • scholar will spend at least one semester at UAF
  • scholar will teach an appropriate course while at UAF
  • scholar will make at least one special presentation, either in Fairbanks or
    at a rural campus
  • Dates of proposed stay
  • Date by which a decision on this proposal is needed
  • Scholar's CV
