Nominations of outstanding individuals who you feel deserve to be recognized as professor emeritus/emerita are now being accepted through February 7, 2007.

GUIDELINES

Nominations for emeritus/emerita professor may originate from the dean or director in consultation with the faculty or the faculty working through the unit peer review committee. The campus-wide promotion/tenure review committee will review all nominations and make a recommendation to the Provost, who will then forward his/her recommendation to the Chancellor, whose decision is final and non-renewable.

Please review the UAF Regulations for Emeritus Status (.doc format), as amended by the Faculty Senate in 2004.

In the nomination packet, please include:

    Current vita for the nominee

    Recommendations and rationale in support of the nomination

    Other supporting comments as appropriate
