Numerous employers and agencies require a set of fingerprints from prospective employees. People applying for teacher certifications, liquor licenses, foster care, weapons transfers, and adoptions will need a set of fingerprints. 

The UAF Police department provides fingerprinting services by appointment only.  Please call our appointment line at 474-5458 to schedule a time or fill out the form below. The phone line is a message line only.  Please do not repeatedly call and attempt to bypass the need to leave your name and number as a message.   We will call you back and set up an appointment.

The charge is $50.00 for this service per person no matter how many cards are produced.  We accept cash or checks made out to UAF.  You must bring with you photo identification such as a drivers license or a passport if you do not have a drivers license. Do not fill out any forms or fingerprints cards before your appointment.

Please plan ahead and leave a message on our phone line or fill out the formbelow and submit your request on-line at least a week before you need the appointment.   During the summer of 2011, we will have appointments Monday- Thursday in the afternoon from 1-4pm

If for any reason fingerprint cards are rejected by any agency, we will reprint for free but no refunds will be made.

We cannot do immigration, passport , HAZMAT or CDL fingerprints.
