Not the criminal type!

Numerous employers and agencies require a set of fingerprints from prospective employees. People applying for teacher certifications, liquor licenses, foster care, weapons transfers, and adoptions will need a set of fingerprints. There is a $40.00 charge for this service. We accept cash or checks made out to UAF.  You must bring with you photo identification such as a drivers license or a passport.

The UAF Police department provides this service by appointment only.  Please call 474-5458 to schedule a time. This is a message line only, please do not repeatedly ring and attempt to bypass the need to leave your name and number as a message. This is the only way appointments are taken and scheduled by our fingerprint technician.   Please plan ahead and leave message at least a week before you need the appointment. We cannot perform employment background checks however.
