Security Request Form

This police security request form is to be used for events approved through UAF planning committee, through Wood Center scheduling, or other event coordination or planning mechanisms. All events with over 50 people attending or serving alcohol require police security assessment. The review may result in required law enforcement or security staffing and charges billed to the event requester. This form must be submitted no later than 14 working days prior to the event or an additional fee of 250.00 will be assessed in addition to any required security charges.  Charges are based on the nature of the event, the number of community security officers or police officers and dispatchers required to adequately provide security for an event and is based on the UAF Chief of Police's review of the request.

All special event requests should have been submitted through University Advancement  at http://www.uaf.edu/calendars/events/  prior to submitting this form.  All special event requests submitted through University Advancement will automatically be screened for events requiring police review.
