Kit Dawson - Receiver Operating Characteristic, Antarctica Infrasound Sensors (+)
As an undergraduate research assistant for the Wilson Infrasound Observatories (Dr. Szuberla, Dr. Olson, and friends), I've worked on, or am currently working on, a number of different projects.

One project that I've been working on is developing Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curves for a signal detection method recently developed by Danny Lee (PhD Physics Student).

I'm also making a program to streamline the processing of the annual calibrations that are done on the Fairbanks and Windless Bight, Antarctica infrasound sensors.

Another ongoing project that I have is analyzing the differences between the different parts and versions of an algorithm that estimates the location of the source of an infrasound wave.  Testing this algorithm involves sending millions of computationally simulated infrasound waves at this algorithm to looking at the result.

And finally, I am putting together a numerical model for ray tracing through a stratified media.
