Students should be prepared for temperatures varying from 70 degrees above zero in the spring, to -50 degrees in the winter time. It can take up to 10 minutes to walk from upper to lower campus. might be able to find winter gear at a cheaper price. Graduate Teaching Assistantship contracts begin the middle of August (around the 17th) so you will need to make special arrangements to arrive in the dorms early.
