UAF
is a fully-accredited institution as affirmed by the Commission on Colleges
of the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges. UAF was successfully
re-accredited during the fall of 2001. Site visit accreditation cycles
occur decennially followed by 5-year mid-term visits designed to re-affirm
accreditation. The decennial visit requires the university to undertake
and write an institutional self-study. The next accreditation site visit
is scheduled for fall 2011.
