Sea Grant funds marine research, provides education and advisory services to teachers and the public, Forum of Alaska Marine Issues The goal of the Forum of Alaska Marine Issues (FOAMI) is to inform fishermen, local organizations and local community members of current research happening in and around Unalaska/Dutch Harbor, AK. Lectures are held throughout the year at the Mu Grant Sends Digital Planetarium to Rural Alaska! Geophysical Institute and U of A Museum team up. Marine Advisory Program The Marine Advisory Program (MAP) is a university-based, statewide, outreach and technical assistance program designed to help Alaskans widely develop, use, conserve, and enjoy Alaska’s marine and coastal resources. Reindeer Research Program Tours and School/Community Presentations The UAF Reindeer Research Program is available to provide classroom presentations on reindeer as well as tours of the Reindeer Research Facility for K-12 classrooms as well as various organizations within interior Alaska. University of Alaska Museum of the North Consistently rated the best museum in Alaska, the UA Museum provides an excellent introduction to the Native culture, science and natural history of Alaska.
