African - Arctic Aka dondo
Arctic Aka dondo is an outlet to discuss dynamic questions relating to Africa and the African Diaspora.  The Association is a way to combine the multidimensional appeal of African issues towards multidisciplinary courses at UAF, such as language, history, dance, politics and literature.

American Indian Science & Engineering Society (UAF Chapter)

The UAF Chapter of AISES is part of a national non-profit organization which supports Alaska Natives and American Indians who are pursuing studies in science, engineering and related academic areas.  AISES meetings feature speakers from a wide variety of academic interests and scientific professions.  The emphasis is on learning, leadership, community service, and promoting employment, internships, and graduate school opportunities.  Any interested students are welcome to attend.

Festival of Native Arts (FNA)
Beginning in 1973, students organized a spring festival focused on the artistic expression of each Alaska Native culture. Over thirty years later, the Festival of Native Arts continues to unite the major Native culture groups of Alaska. As many as 1,500 traditional and contemporary Indigenous dance groups, musicians, storytellers and artisans have from around Alaska, the country, and other countries around the world to participate in Festival of Native Arts for the sole purpose of cultural expression and education.

HOLA: Hispanic or Latino Awareness

The Hispanic or Latino Awareness (HOLA) is a student based organization with the purpose of raising culture awareness, networking and strengthening leadership skills.  In addition, members will receive information regarding scholarships, internships, community service opportunities, peer mentoring, tutoring and more.  HOLA also welcomes staff, faculty and friends from the Fairbanks community to our monthly gatherings & sharing of traditional foods, stories, games, history, fold and modern dances, etc.  Join us  and bring a friend.  Everyone is welcome!
