Material Transfer
An MTA is a contract that allows the transfer of research materials between the university and the industry. There are a variety of MTAS:
- Incoming Materials
- Outgoing Material
- Human Tissue
Material Transfer Agreement Form
This form must be filled out for ALL material transfer whether incoming or outgoing. This form must be submitted along with any other documentation regarding the material transfer. For more information about Material Transfer Agreements please contact the Office of Research Integrity.
Incoming Materials
Incoming MTAs govern the transfer of material from another entity to UAF. All MTAs to the University must be reviewed and signed before material can be transferred to the University. If you are interested in sending materials to a researcher at UAF, please contact the Office of Research Integrity.
Outgoing Materials
Outgoing MTAs govern the transfer of materials from UAF to the Industry. If the UAF researcher wants to use an MTA to send materials, please contact the Office of Research Integrity.
Human Tissue Transfer
UAF requires Human Tissue Transfer Agreements when human research specimens are transferred outside of UAF. If you are transferring human tissue please contact the Office of Research Integrity.
