OIPC wants to help any faculty, staff or student who believes he or she may have created an invention. Our office helps inventors:

• Assess their idea;
• Market their idea to companies that may be interested in the invention;
• Seek intellectual property protection;
• Protect patentability of their inventions;
• License the invention or execute other beneficial agreements; and/or
• Garner royalties.
