Some programs require intermediate proficiency in a language (an equivalent of 202 non-English language course at UAF or higher) in order to participate. Programs with a language requirement are followed by a letter in parentheses (X), which represent the following languages:
(F) - French
(G) - German
(I) - Inuktitut, Iñupiaq (if taken at UAF), or Greenlandic
(J) - Japanese
(R) - Russian
(S) - Spanish
