The Offices of Equal Opportunity and Diversity are comprised of the Office of Equal Opportunity, the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Diversity, and the UAF Women's Center.

The mission of the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Diversity is to promote a tolerant and caring society by providing effective culturally sensitive educational opportunities for students, staff, and faculty of the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The office, therefore, serves as a resource and support center to promote and facilitate a tolerant, diverse community at UAF. The office promotes and facilitates diversity through comprehensive cultural programs, targeted projects and events, and participation in the development of effective recruitment and retention strategies.

Women's Center

The Women's Center exists for providing resources and support to women; to create an atmosphere in which all people are free to affirm and celebrate their differences; and to educate the community about gender-related issues. The Center provides services to, and participates in the education of female members of the UAF students, faculty, staff, and the Fairbanks community.
