Anti-Discrimination Advisors

An anti-discrimination advisor is an individual trained to advise individuals regarding discrimination, provide information on the formal complaint process and outline alternatives for complaint resolution.  Please contact the Director of Equal Opportunity for a list of trained advisors who have knowledge of applicable laws, statutes and regulations and are available to answer questions or assistance.

Hiring Reviews

This office is available to respond to any UAF applicant who wants to know why their application was eliminated from further consideration. 

Mediation

The Office of Equal Opportunity Director is available to provide mediation, facilitation or other techniques to assist individuals to resolve conflicts in the working or learning environment.  This office also has a list of other individuals who are trained mediators.
