What do reindeer sound like?
Where does the "click, click, click" part of “Up on the housetop, click, click, click…” come from? The clicking sound comes from tendons in the reindeer’s feet slipping over the bones. To hear this sound--along with some reindeer grunts--click the arrow to the right below the image. Reindeer sounds provided by Kathy Turco of Alaska’s Spirit Speaks: Sound & Science.
