Information on the 2010 Global Change Student Research Grant Competition is now available at http://www.cgc.uaf.edu. Hardcopy announcements can be picked up at the Center for Global Change, Room 306 Akasofu Building or the Graduate School, Room 202 Eielson Building.

This annual competition provides support to students for research involving the biological, physical, social or engineering components of global change, with a focus on arctic and boreal regions. Undergraduate and graduate students at UAF and UAA are invited to apply.

Undergraduate applicants are encouraged to submit pre-proposals in order to receive feedback before submitting their final proposals. These pre-proposals are due by 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 15, and final proposals from all applicants are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 5. Undergraduate and graduate proposals will be evaluated separately.
