The Cornerstone is UAF’s faculty and staff newsletter. It provides information to keep UAF employees informed about activities, events and issues affecting the university and campus. Information on staff changes, kudos for getting a grant or publishing a paper, events happening on campus or sponsored by UAF departments and other items related to the university are all published in the Cornerstone. It has undergone several upgrades recently, including a new banner and a featured photo each issue.

The Cornerstone is published online on Mondays. Check it out at www.uaf.edu/cornerstone/. It is also sent via an e-mail listserv. The listserv is html-based, but it can be viewed as text only. To subscribe to the listserv, visit www.uaf.edu/cornerstone/subscribe/. If you have information you want to share with the UAF community via the Cornerstone, you may submit any UAF- or UA-related items for consideration. To submit an item, e-mail fystone@uaf.edu, fax to 907-474-6283 or call 907-474-6281. Please include what, where, when, who, any admission costs for events and a contact number, e-mail or website to get more information. The submission deadline is noon Wednesdays.
