Staff Council meets scholarship goal

Raffles for the Carolyn Sampson Staff Council scholarship have brought the principal account balance to more than $60,000. The account is accruing enough interest to award more than $2,000 per year in scholarships to deserving students. The success of the scholarship drive is due to the tremendous amount of work Staff Council put into this very worthy cause. Scholarships are one of the best ways to ensure the future of our university and our students. Thanks to everyone for their efforts. Congratulations, Staff Council, for meeting your goal.

People may continue giving to the Carolyn Sampson Staff Council scholarship as individuals. Thank you to all of the employees who have purchased raffle tickets.
