Webinar to focus on permafrost degradation

The Alaska Center for Climate Assessment and Policy will host a statewide webinar with University of Alaska Fairbanks permafrost researcher Vladimir Romanovsky on Tuesday, November 3rd at 10 a.m.

Romanovsky will speak about degrading permafrost in the arctic and subarctic regions of Alaska and its potential effects on hydrology, ecosystems, infrastructure and the carbon cycle. A discussion will follow.
