Parnell to speak about Alaska’s economy Submitted by Tammy Tragis-McCook Gov. Sean Parnell will speak about Alaska’s economy Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 1:30 p.m. in the Charles W. Davis Concert Hall on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. Parnell’s presentation, "Positioning Alaska's Economy for Growth," will cover Alaska’s economic history, as well is his ideas for strengthening it in the future. The event is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the UAF School of Management and Students Who Enjoy Economic Thinking, a student group also known as SWEET.
