Registration open for Tanzania, Zanzibar tour

Registration is now open for the University of Alaska Fairbanks Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning winter cultural tour to Tanzania and Zanzibar.

This year’s two-week tour of Tanzania is set for Dec. 28 through Jan. 10. An optional add-on trip to Zanzibar is available Jan. 10-14.

The tour features hands-on learning experiences about political, economic, environmental and cultural issues in the East African nation. Participants will have a chance to visit traditional villages, view wildlife and meet with a variety of local organizations.
