UAF to host Really Free Market

As part of its sustainability efforts, the University of Alaska Fairbanks will host its first Really Free Market Saturday, June 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Patty Center parking lot.

The event will resemble a garage sale, except all items will be free. From 8-10 a.m., local residents are invited to bring their usable, clean, safe, nonperishable items to share with the community. The market will open at 10 a.m. for people to take any items they can use, for free. No selling, bartering or swapping.

The red, blue and yellow borough bus lines will be free to market attendees.
