Youth program founder to discuss film Submitted by Marmian Grimes San Francisco pediatrician Nancy Iverson will be in Fairbanks Monday, June 22 for the 7 p.m. screening of the documentary film, “From the Badlands to Alcatraz.” The screening will take place in the Schaible Auditorium on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus and is free and open to the public. The film chronicles five Lakota youths’ participation in the PATHSTAR Pine Ridge Alcatraz swim program. Iverson is co-founder and medical director of the program.
