Registration opens for Visual Art Academy

Registration is open for the Visual Art Academy at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The academy is open to sixth- through twelfth-graders. Students can choose classes in computer art, digital photography, painting, printmaking, sculpture and 3-D design, as well as ceramics, drawing and metalsmithing.

Students can choose a full-day or half-day program. The camp runs June 8-19. Space is limited. The deadline for registration and fee payment is June 1.
