Begich lecture to outline stimulus package

U.S. Sen. Mark Begich will give a free public lecture Friday, April 17 at 1 p.m. at the Wood Center Ballroom on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus.

Begich will speak about The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and how it stands to affect Alaska, the Interior and the university.

The lecture is sponsored by Students Who Enjoy Economic Thinking, a student group at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
