Interim chancellor forums scheduled this week Submitted by Jayne Harvie University of Alaska President Mark Hamilton has announced two finalists under consideration to replace outgoing UAF Chancellor Stephen B. Jones. Public forums will take place April 16 and April 17 in the UAF Wood Center multilevel lounge at 4-6 p.m. to meet the finalists for the UAF interim chancellor. John Davies, research director at the Cold Climate Housing Research Center on the UAF campus, is scheduled to meet the UAF community on April 16. Brian Rogers, principal consultant and chief financial officer for Information Insights, is scheduled to meet the UAF community April 17. These forums will be available via teleconference to the UAF community campuses. In addition, it will be broadcast on the web via an audio stream at www.uaf.edu/news/webcasts/index.html.
