Milder temperatures and clear skies combine to make March and April prime months for viewing the aurora borealis in the Fairbanks area. The northern lights were out in full glory on the night of March 26 as evidenced by these photos taken by Marketing and Communications photo manager Todd Paris. UAF’s Geophysical Institute maintains a website forecasting auroral activity, available at this URL: www.gedds.alaska.edu/AuroraForecast/.
