UAF launches ‘Diversity Matters’ program

The University of Alaska Fairbanks journalism department and the UAF Office of Multicultural Affairs recently launched a new student-produced television program, “Diversity Matters.”

The program, which airs Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. on Fox 7, features UAF students interviewing local residents about what diversity means and how it is reflected in the community. The goal of the program is to cultivate a community environment that supports openness, understanding and dialogue.
