Radio talk show host Bob Edwards will bring to life the major stories covered by Edward R. Murrow in a presentation Wednesday, June 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the Charles Davis Concert Hall on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus.

Edwards will present historic audio clips and stories about the Blitz, the Berlin bombing raids and red-baiting by Sen. Joe McCarthy.

Edwards will reminisce on his own career at National Public Radio and his new role as host of the Bob Edwards Show on satellite radio. He will also host a book signing of his new book, Edward R. Murrow and the Birth of Broadcast Journalism.
