Participate in the presidential inauguration Submitted by Shelbie Umphenour The University of Alaska Foundation will sponsor up to 10 UAF undergraduate student participants in the Washington Center Campaign 2008 Presidential Inauguration Seminar, to be held Jan. 10-21, 2009 in Washington, D.C. This academic seminar will provide a backstage view into the Presidential Inauguration and focus on the newly elected president and the formation of a new executive administration. All transportation, housing, program fees, and meal stipends are provided through the generous support of BP and ConocoPhillips. Student participants must register for the two-credit UAF spring course PS 393 “Presidential Inauguration Seminar”, which will be open only to attendees at the seminar. Students from any baccalaureate major are encouraged to apply.
