Campus closed for University of Alaska Civil Rights Day Submitted by Carla Browning Most offices at the University of Alaska Fairbanks will be closed Monday, Jan. 21 in observance of University of Alaska Civil Rights Day. Offices and Residence Halls open at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22. Orientation for new students will take place Wednesday, Jan. 23. Classes and late registration begin Thursday, Jan. 24.
