Museum updates popular installation
Pulitzer Prize-winning composer John Luther Adams is working to make improvements to his popular installation "The Place Where You Go to Listen" at the University of Alaska Museum of the North. The exhibit is currently closed while new audio programming and other upgrades are completed.
The Place Where You Go to Listen, a light and sound installation that gives voice to the earth’s cycles, seismic vibrations, and other features, opened in 2006 at the UA Museum of the North.
The current project is made possible by a grant from the Rasmuson Foundation.
