Off to the Trapline!

Art in Life

Alaskans take great pride in being pioneers who are able to live in a land of many challenges. Miners, trappers, hunters, fishers, Native and non-Native Alaskans are shown in many of Machetanz's paintings. They are often shown hard at work amidst the wild and beautiful scenery of Alaska. Some people like his paintings because they wish they could live the exciting and romantic life of an Alaskan.
