Climbing Denali by Chris Cannon
In 1913, a group of men used only their strength and intellegence to climb to the peak of Denali.
In May 2013, Denali Legacy: 100 Years on the Mountain, an exhibit examining the journey through the original journals of those climbers, opens at the University of Alaska Museum of the North.
In the hundred years since the first ascent of Denali, thousands of people have tried to reach the summit. Hundreds have stood on the highest peak in North America.
If you know what that view looks like and you’re willing to share, send us your photos.
