Growing the Blockhouse Roof

New Shelves for Earth Science
November 2011 - Earth sciences curator Pat Druckenmiller received a $392,486 grant from NSF’s biological research collections program to help bring the museum's storage facility into the 21st Century.
Northern Alaska Rock Art
September 2011 - This summer, a team of archaeologists and artists traveled to a petroglyph site in the Noatak National Preserve. During smallscale excavations of prehistoric dwellings, the team made an exciting discovery.
