September 2011 - This summer, a team of archaeologists and artists traveled to a petroglyph site in the Noatak National Preserve. During smallscale excavations of prehistoric dwellings, the team made an exciting discovery. More here...

Ida Cast Comes to the Museum

The World of Insects

April 9, 2011 - The University of Alaska Museum of the North's mostly-annual Chocolate Bash in support of the Museum Endowment Fund was a formal success. The crowd enjoyed tropical treats from the community's most creative chefs and put on their own glamorous show as well. More here...
